Copart and IAA are two of the biggest online car auctions in the United States. Insurance companies, banks and fleet owners sell cars there, and buyers from around the world bid on them online. For many buyers in Nigeria, it is a way to get a wider choice of cars, often at a lower purchase price.
What kind of cars are sold
Everything from clean, lightly used cars to vehicles with accident damage and older cars with normal wear. Each listing shows photos, the type of damage, mileage, title type and the yard where the car is located.
How it works with Fasconet
- Pick a car on our Auction Cars page, or send us the link to one you found.
- We check the listing and send you the full cost, including fees, shipping and clearance.
- We place the bid for you, up to the budget you set.
- If we win, you pay and we arrange shipping from the US yard to Lagos.
- We handle clearance and delivery. This usually takes 4 to 8 weeks.
Things to know before you bid
- Photos show the car as listed. Damage can be bigger than it looks, so ask us to review a lot before you decide.
- The title type matters. A clean title and a salvage title are treated differently, so check which one the car has.
- The current bid is not the final price. Auction fees, shipping and clearance are added on top.
- Bids move quickly, and the last minutes of an auction often decide the price.
